The only thing you have to pay for is the Apprentices' wages. The training is paid for by the Welsh Assembly Government and is administered by ELWa. Approved Training Providers are then funded by ELWa to deliver the training and assessment. The funding of each Apprentice is agreed between you and the Training Provider.

You'll also have to make sure time is given for the Apprentice to do their training. Depending on the framework being followed, training could either take place at work or at College (a day a week or block release). You'll also need to give them time on-the-job to do their assessments and to collect evidence for their NVQ portfolio.
